What to do? Becoming an agent is really easy. The first step is to determine your financial stability. Being an agent is not an inexpensive venture.
Secondly, there are minimum State educational requirements. To sit for the exam, one must complete a 60 hour course with an accredited real estate school. At that point an exam time can be scheduled.
After passing the State exam, an additional 30 hours of education must be completed prior to the actual license being issued.
Choosing a firm is the next step in the process. It will take approximately 14 business days to recieve an actual real estate license once the proper paperwork is mailed.
